Dr. Pruessner cordially invited all affiliate/associate members of MCSA, for a membership meeting and new membership drive in the form of a BBQ on the grounds of the Centre. Two announcements were made; the new Dementia Prevention Program and MCSA Symposium, entitled "Healthy Aging - Healthy Mind" on October 1, 2010. Dr. Pruessner invited all members to participate and distribute this information amongst their networks

The Evening was organized especially to thank donors for their faithful support and to introduce the new Director; Dr. Jens Pruessner. The Centre's scientists, Dr Jens Pruessner, Dr. Serge Gauthier, and Dr. Judes Poirier, reviewed past accomplishments in research findings and discoveries, and explained new clinical trials and their therapeutic promises. The Centre's new focus on prevention activities with a dedicated research program was announced and explained to the attending donors.
